# About The Qi Kitchen

## Food is medicine. It always has been.

In China, the idea that what you eat directly affects how you feel isn't alternative medicine — it's just common sense. For thousands of years, Chinese families have used food to manage stress, improve sleep, ease digestion, and support long-term health. Your grandmother knew which soup to make when you had a cold. Your mother knew which tea helped you sleep.

That knowledge exists. Most of it just hasn't made it to your kitchen yet.

## What we do

We dig deep into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and classical Chinese food therapy — reading the research, the ancient texts, and the modern clinical studies — and translate it into practical, accessible guidance for health-conscious people in the US.

Every week, you'll get:

We're not a clinic. We're not selling supplements. We don't believe in miracle cures or overclaiming what food can do.

What we do believe: small, consistent shifts in what you eat — guided by centuries of accumulated wisdom — can meaningfully support your health. That's a claim backed by both tradition and a growing body of modern research.

## A note on our approach

TCM concepts like "qi," "warming foods," and "organ systems" can sound foreign at first. We always explain what these mean in plain language, and where modern science has studied these principles, we'll tell you what the research actually says.
